We've got a low-mileage JDM 1.8L stock Miata motor for sale. Excellent condition, approx 35,000 miles. This engine was in our car from July of last year through the end of the season, we opted to drop a built race 1.8L motor in the car this winter. I have the original video compression tests, as well as dyno numbers, we gained over 10% hp from our original factory motor when we dropped this engine in last summer. It has new oil, water pump and gaskets so it's ready to be dropped in to your car, I believe it still has the clutch installed as well, oem AC components may also still be attached?. The engine is currently at York Automotive in Mt. Airy.
Asking $1000 obo. This is a strong motor (took FTD at least 6x last season), great option for a 1.6L swap out or in our case, a replacement after the crank nose broke on our OEM motor.
