I have a Jetta TDI that has super poor acceleration. Andrewtech said it has a collapsed catalyst converter - may also be the turbo.
Car has 256K miles.
New timing belt and water pump (about 3 months ago) and new battery.
It recently pass emissions and inspection but now also has a code for glow plugs.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from. I need another car like I need a hole in my head, I'm sure you feel the same way. Lemme think about it and do a bit of research to make sure everything is swappable. Might still be worth it to part out the car after I take what I want. Just didnt want to deal with the hassle.
I worked on the car this weekend and it is back up to power. Also I welded back together the exhaust so that it doesn't smell like diesel in the cabin anymore. I was originally going to give the car to my cousin if it was an easy fix but I'm willing to re-sell too. Price will be higher.
