Selling my Miata autocross car. 1991 Miata SE in BRG. This is a long nose crank car with no power steering (de-powered rack), no a/c (removed). No rust. Minor paint scrape on driver side rear bumper and some chips in hard top.
Maintenance @ 104k:
Timing belt, water pump, front crank seal, and thermostat gasket.
Radiator and hoses
Heater core hoses
Clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, front trans seal, rear main seal
CAS o-ring and valve cover gasket
Both shifter boots and shifter bushings
All fluids replaced
Mods:
Koni race front sport rear shocks
700/450 lb springs
Koni perches and collars
ISC racing top hats front and rear
Racing beat hollow sway bar
949 Racing endlinks
Mazda speed motor mounts
Energy suspension control arm bushings
Kosei K1 15x7 with Kumho Ecsta Xs 205/50-15
Tsudo exhaust
Raceland header
Still have all stock parts including a/c compressor, a/c condenser, PS pump, sway bars, shocks, springs, and daisy wheels. Robbins glass window soft top still installed.
When I bought this car every gasket was leaking and anything that held coolant was about to burst. The sun did its job of oxidizing the paint and even the shift knob would rattle. All leaks have been fixed and the car looks and sits very nice. It drives nice even with the stiff springs.
For autocross the car is very neutral. Proper springs and top hats keep it off the bump stops. VSLD diff keeps you from doing a one tire burnout on exit and the de-powered rack gives great steering feel.
Price: $6,250
