WTB: ax car

Post by hepcatz »

Looking for a dedicated car for ax & maybe some light track. I'd prefer a CS/ST Miata but am open to other options as well. Looks not as important as good mechaincals, suspension and wheels/tires.

That he is. Although a great car, it is out of my budget range.

There was a 1995 Miata M on craigslist with a factory hardtop with defroster for only $1800 (he increased the price to $2100 but said he would honor the $1800 for me). The passenger front fender was bent and would not allow the headlight to retract, the odometer didn't work, and there is rust in the rocker panels. I was tempted but decided that I really don't need another car.

I'm no longer in the market for an ax car. Thanks all for your suggestions.

Did you buy a car or decide not to buy one? Or from looking at the other threads, did you actually buy Jim's Corolla!

Ed-
I did indeed buy Jim's AE86 and will be running that in small bore Saturday instead of my miata.
