Well, I would have loved a nice sunny day and I debated not coming, but at the end I had a great time and learned more then if the conditions were perfect. My thanks to everyone that voluntered to suffer through the event for our benefit, especially the flaggers and the track stewart (at the track out).
Everyone please post your pictures or post a link to any video that anyone may have taken.

I had some fun on the skidpad. Here is the internal footage. Maximo has some external but hasn't sent it to me yet.

wow. seeing those pictures really makes me realize how crappy it is that it rained all day. Bummer.
by the way, how did this happen?
Can't imagine how a car would end up way over there ? ?

The front end went right and the rear end went left coming under the bridge. It was really slick so people were spinning all over the place. There was the "T9 river" right of apex and also the crown transition from track right to track left in preparation for the jump was slick so a car under power could get in trouble. I could not apply full throttle until I was under the brighe on track left (and this is in a Miata in 3rd gear).

so the above pic is after doing a 360 ?
I'd say you guys did well to keep it safe. I watched one of the vids. It was in a RWD car. It looked so slow and slippery. Just another reason to drive a Subaru
When's the next CDC track day?

Wow, beautiful mustang!
Looks like a lot of fun, even in the rain.
